The National Weather Service has confirmed that a powerful EF-4 tornado tore through southern Kentucky on Friday night, devastating communities across multiple counties.
The NWS Blacksburg VA issued a weather alert at 6:21 p.m. on Tuesday for strong thunderstorms until 7:15 p.m. for Ashe and Watauga counties.
The NWS Greenville-Spartanburg SC issued a report at 5:52 p.m. on Tuesday for strong thunderstorms until 6:30 p.m. for Avery and Mitchell counties.
The NWS Fort Worth TX released a flood warning at 8:54 a.m. on Tuesday in effect until 11:53 p.m. for Wise County.

At least seven tornadoes have been confirmed during Sunday's storms in counties west of the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex and two during the storms on Monday north of the metroplex, according to the National Weather Service.
On Monday at 11:45 p.m. the National Weather Service released a flood warning in effect until Tuesday at 10 a.m. The warning is for Platte, Atchison, Doniphan, Andrew, Buchanan and Nodaway counties.
