Just one month after severe flooding hit the state, this past weekend’s severe storms have killed at least 19 people, at last update.

Most of the destruction happened in the southeastern part of the state where the National Weather Service confirmed an EF3 tornado ripped through the area.

Members of a trailer park in London, Kentucky, were severely affected by storms last Friday. Residents of the trailer park returned to find their community destroyed. Many said they weren't prepared for what they saw, with holes in their homes and some being picked up and thrown yards away.

The Jackson, Kentucky, office is one of at least four such facilities across the country that is so short-staffed that it is no longer routinely operating 24/7.

Goodwill Kentucky announced that its Somerset and London locations will provide $50 vouchers to individuals who have been affected by the latest storm.
